Two independent 7-knob Algal Blooms in one box (7.4" x 4.7", the size of two standard Algals set side-by-side), each with dedicated in/out jacks. Two ultra-flexible Algal Blooms, which you can run as two channels, or experiment with running one into the other.
 
The independent ins/outs give you the option of "placing" each AB any where in the chain. 
One power jack powers both. (by request, I can give each side its own power jack...for symmetry's sake, or if you want to run each at a different voltage. (9v - 18v)
 
Highs, Push, Gain, Thickness, Voltage, Clipping/Headroom, Level
The new Drive knob boosts, adding gain, sustain, and brightness. Drive is more aggressive on higher-gain settings, nastier, then the last turn gets compressed and splattery tones. Drive is more subtle on lower-gain settings, increasing brightness and response/attack.
 
The Algal Bloom Modified starts with FuzzHugger's classic chord-friendly, overdriven fuzz, and enhances its best qualities: Dial in more gain and thickness than ever before. Slightly higher-fi, with lower overall noise levels, and a touch more sustain. The Headroom knob improves on the pedal's chord-friendliness, delivering extra clarity and definition as you turn right, shifting to a hot-yet-clear, less clipped tone. Great for cleaning up the tone, and for lower tunings and bass. Accepts 9 - 18v, with Voltage knob to reduce voltage and relax gain and response.
