FuzzHugger Custom Combo 2-in-1 Absynthe
Deluxe Clear FinishCustom build prototype features two full, independent Absynth fuzzes.
Sizzling overdriven fuzz, with hints of octave, adjusts from thick to splattery. Step on the oscillation foot switch for runaway oscillation madness, glitch, self-arpeggio, filtery tones, and octave down. You can also play over the oscillation, with noise jumping in-between the notes, or sustain and let it slowly collapse into oscillation again. I've made a couple tweaks to improve control sweeps and more intuitive access to various oscillation tones.
Note:
→ The controls of the two Absynths are mirror-imaged, which might or might not mess with your brain.
→ The middle two footswitches (on#1, on#2) are close together. If you have dextrous feet and can accurately stomp, or say, you wear pointed shoes or no shoes, it may not be an issue. Center-to-center distance of the middle two footswitcches is 1.5"
More notes about the Absythe:
• Self-oscillation is runaway noise. Please understand what you're getting yourself into.
.• Oscillation will vary with every guitar and pickup selection.
• Not compatible with active pickups, not for use after buffered pedals.
• 9-18v DC center-negative adapter only (no batteries).
