| smallsound/bigsound - Team_Awesome Fuzzmachine Sold Out 2/15 (free US shipping!) $175 The team_awesome fuzzmachine is a full-range, bass-booming germanium fuzz with a clean blend. Saturated walls of fuzzzz... Description: Thick germanium fuzz with a clean-ish blend and lots of low end. Great for bassists, guitarists, and everyone else... A saturated sound with unique harmonic structure. Controls: • cv (clean volume): a not quite clean blend with a bit of a boost (you bought it for fuzz, though, remember?). • fv (fuzz volume): lots of volume from the fuzzed signal... • fz (fuzz): alters texture/amount of fuzzzz. • sh (shape): alters filter shaping: woofy lows to piercing highs. • in (input gain): controls input gain stage. turn up for even more compressed/saturated fuzz. also works in conjunction with top toggle switch to boost clean portion into overdrive... • top toggle (clean/dirty): DOWN: in only affects fuzz. UP: in boosts cv into overdrive and inverts phase. • bottom toggle (shape): changes the frequency response. DOWN: slightly scooped. UP: added high-mids. • Internal trimpots: two internal multi-turn (occasionally ingle-turn...) trimpots. these are set for the best sound as i hear it, but feel free to change them... --bias trim: adjust the bias of the second transistor. helps to cancel noise, increase/reduce bass, tame feedback. --feedback trim: adjust the amount of negative feedback. changes frequency response, amount of feedback. Output is very LOUD so start with volume knobs set to around 9 o'clock. |

| Check out the BassFuzz.com review of the Team_Awesome Fuzzmachine! "I really like it! It offers a ton of flexibility with the clean and dirty volumes to dial in the level of fuzz you are looking for. The high gain settings are a sizzling romp. [...] The more moderate settings are pleasingly flexible, giving you a ton of tone options." |
